Éyameth’ Health Centre is part of the First Nations-Led Primary Health Care Initiative, which aims to develop up to 15 First Nations-led Primary Health Care Centre (FNPCCs) in rural centres and urban locations across BC.
Éyameth’ Health Centre is a proud initiative of the Sts’ailes Nation, providing culturally safe and comprehensive health services open to all Indigenous and non-Indigenous people in the North Fraser Region.
Our center was established with the vision of offering accessible, wholistic healthcare, combining traditional medicines and wellness practices with modern medical care to meet the health needs of those in rural and remote communities across the North Fraser Region.
We offer a wide range of integrated services, including primary care, maternal health, Elder care, mental health and addictions support, chronic disease management, and traditional wellness and healing. Our dedicated team of health care professionals works collaboratively with patients to create personalized care plans that address their unique needs, respecting both western medicines and traditional wellness practices.
Our Level 1 Laboratory and Pharmacy will provide critical clinical support, allowing patients to access diagnostic tests and medication directly on-site, ensuring seamless care without unnecessary delays. Additionally, our physical and occupational therapy services help patients recover mobility, reduce pain, and regain independence.
Éyameth’ Health Centre shares in the FNHA’s commitment to building health systems that reflect First Nations values and governance. By integrating culturally informed care with innovative health services, we are not only improving health outcomes, but also reinforcing the self-determination of First Nations communities. Through this collaboration, we are part of a larger movement aimed at reducing health disparities, improving access to care, and creating lasting positive impacts for both Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples.
